Dick Biggs of Carson City will celebrate his 89th birthday on Friday, Feb. 10.

Ron Pierini of Douglas County is still seeking additional auction and raffle items for the huge Carson Valley Chukar Club fund raiser.

That highly popular event will be held on March 4 at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.

To donate items, call Pierini at 782-9903.

John Riordan of Dayton is home recovering, nicely, from open-heart surgery on Jan. 30 for a double by-pass.

Bob Schroeder of Carson City has been faithfully accompanying his fishing group's leader, Gene Phelps, to Walker Lake to fish for Cutthroat.

In the process, he has been "skunked" on most of the outings. Hmmm, maybe he needs a new group leader.
