To donate items, call Pierini at 782-9903.

• Paul Saucedo of Carson City caught a 13-pound, 9-ounce Cutthroat trout at Pyramid Lake, last week and he is having that trophy mounted. So, after it is finished, if you go visiting, you will have listen to a real-life fishing story and see the impressive results.

• Bob Schroeder of Carson City finally broke down and bought a pair of chest waders to replace his hip waders. Then, for the very first time, he outfished all of his fishing partners at Walker Lake, last week, while wearing the new waders. Yahoo! Let the bragging begin!

• Mike Zuppan of Douglas County caught a 5-pound, 11-ounce (22.5 inches) rainbow trout at Topaz Lake last week. He was fishing from shore with Power Bait and was accompanied by Cinder, his dog. An informer said that Zuppan had fallen asleep, when the fish hit his bait.
