A celebration of life for Gladys Pearl Meissner Clausen, 93, a Carson City resident, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Mrs. Clausen died Feb. 8, 2006, at her home of cancer. She was born Aug. 6, 1912, in Livingston, Mont., to Albert and Beulah Muncaster Meissner.
She enjoyed traveling and visiting family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Marilyn and brothers Albert, Eric "Bud" and Jimmy Meissner.
Among her survivors are her husband of 58 years, Henry Clausen; daughter Gail Wise; daughter and son-in-law Sue and Reggie Carlsen; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and two nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Hospice of Northern Nevada, 3605 Grant Dr., Reno, NV 89501.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
