James E. Fielder, 61, a one-year Carson City resident, died Feb. 6, 2006, in Carson City.
He was born March 3, 1944, in Englewood, Calif., to Eugene B. and Elizabeth Fielder.
Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Perris, Calif.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and enjoyed camping and listening to Roy Clark.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Among his survivors are his mother, Elizabeth Metcalf of Carson City; sister Betty "Bunni" Wagner of Dayton; brother Dan Fielder of Carson City; one uncle and two nieces.
A private family service will be held.
Cremation took place at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
