After the recent departure of the Happy Dollar store at 2230 S. Carson St., the center owner is searching for an occupant for the 6,000-square-foot space.

"I'm hoping that it will be rented soon," said center owner Frank DiMartino. "I would like to get an automotive place in there."

His center, which includes 2230-2250 S. Carson St., includes automotive shops and a concrete business.

The former owners of the Happy Dollar could not be reached for comment. The business moved out Feb. 1 after 18 months in that location, according to DiMartino. Prior to that, the property's last well-known tenant was Carson Motor Supply.

The property is listed with Lori Jenkins of Realty Executives.
