Gerald Kenneth Martin, 77, died Feb. 4, 2006, at his home in Fort Mohave, Ariz. He was born July 19, 1928, in Sunnyvale, Calif., to Frank and Kathryn Martin.
Before moving to Arizona three years ago, he lived in Carson City for many years.
He worked for the Nevada Department of Taxation for 11 years as a rural property appraiser.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1974.
Among his survivors are his mother, Kathryn Martin of Carson City; wife, Rebecca Martin of Fort Mohave; daughters and sons-in-law Shelly and Bill Webb of Washoe Valley, Kathy and Steve Parker of Reno and Judy and Jack Templeton of West Minister, Colo.; daughter Mindy Peltier of Carson City; sons and daughters-in-law John and Beverly Martin of Brentwood, Calif., and Michael and Darlene Martin of Redding, Calif., eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Memorial services were held Feb. 8 in Mohave Valley, Ariz.
Desert Lawn Funeral Home in Mohave Valley is in charge of arrangements.
