A celebration of life for Kenneth Lee Musick, 66, a 24-year resident of Carson City will be 2 p.m. Monday at Mills Park.

Mr. Musick died August 14, 2007, in Reno. He was born May 23, 1941, to Kenneth and Lorilee Musick in Redondo Beach, Calif. He married Mary on July 26, 1980, in Fresno. He enjoyed singing in a barber shop quartet in Carson City and the Comstock Singers, wildlife and fishing. He was a retired butcher for Ralph's in Hollywood, Calif. He was the former owner of Melody Gardens Christian Preschool and a Sunday School teacher at the First Baptist Church in Carson City for many years.

He was preceded in death by grandson Jonathan and his wife Melissa; grandson Allen and great-granddaughter, Nevea.

Among his survivors are his wife of Carson City; daughters, Kathryn Barker of Boulder, Ariz., Katrina Taber of Grandview, Mo., and Melody Musick of Carson City; sons Jon Musick of Boulder, Martin Wilson of Blue Springs, Mo., and Ronald Wilson of Ohio; sister Virginia Musick of Fallon; 17 grandchildren and on great-grandchild.

Cremation will take place at Walton's Sierra Crematory.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
