Bill Brust

Bill Brust passed away on July 17, 2008.

He was born in San Francisco, Calif. on Jan. 31, 1938 to William P. and Lillian Brust Sr. He lived in the Bay Area until 1985 when he moved to Carson City and has lived in Stagecoach for the last 16 years. He had owned three bars in Carson City with his wife. He was a gunsmith and owned Tenco for the last 22 years. He retired after 15 years with Nevada State Prison, was a member of Nevada Corrections Honor Guard and a state of Nevada Tracker. He served nine years in the U.S. Marines and was a life member of the Marine Corp League. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW. He belonged to E Clampus Vitus and was one of the Founding Fathers of the "Over The Hill Gang".

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Wanda of Stagecoach; mom, Marge Brust of Novato, Calif.; mother-in-law Faye Loke of Stagecoach; son, Randy Pinnell (Melody), of Carson City; daughters, Debbie Vargas (Louis), of Daly City, Calif., Erin Bak (Tim), of Media, Pa.., Laura Brust, of Windsor, Calif.; brothers, Robert Brust, of Tucson, Ariz., Paul, Bill and Ricky Brust, of Novato, Calif.; sister, Barbara Eyler, of Novato, Calif.; eight grandchildren and five great grandsons and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bill will be missed so much by his family and friends. A Celebration of his life will be at a later date.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley has been entrusted with his final arrangements.
