The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 25-year-old homemaker from Carson City was arrested at 10:32 p.m. Wednesday in the 1400 block of Como Street on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,132.


-- The following are some of the 178 calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:


• A Mountain Street business reported at 12:02 p.m. company checks were stolen and being cashed.


• A man reported at 3:08 p.m. he lost his "blue steel, two-inch barrel" Ruger in Carson City.


• A mother had her 13-year-old daughter arrested at 3:54 p.m. for skipping class and lying.


• An intoxicated man struck two vehicles and a fence on Myles Way at 6:51 p.m. He was taken to the hospital.




Lyon County


The following are some of the 91 calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:


• Between midnight and 9:34 a.m. deputies responded to 14 accidents in Lyon County.


• The coroner was called out to South Bybee Lane in Mason Valley at 3:52 a.m.


• A larceny report in the 3000 block of Highway 95 Alternate in Silver Springs at 8:19 a.m.


• Battery report on Farm District Road in Fernley at 10 a.m.


• A misdemeanor arrest in the 1000 block of Highway 95 Alternate in Silver Springs at 2 p.m. following the report of a drunken driver.


• A misdemeanor arrest following the service of a warrant at Apache and Zuni drives in Stagecoach at 9:10 p.m.




Storey County


The following are some of the 12 calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:


• A report of a vehicle sliding into a tree on State Route 342 at 7:16 a.m. No one was injured.


• Deputies aided the Sparks Police Department with the service of a warrant on Canyon Way at 1:07 p.m.


• A warrant arrest was made at 5:16 p.m. on Prospector Road.
