The 20th annual Carson Valley Chukar Club fund raiser will be held on Saturday evening, March 4 at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.
HOW TO GET THERE
Drive south on U.S. 395, out of Gardnerville, to the traffic signal light at the 7-11 Store.
At that intersection, turn left onto Pinenut Road.
Take that road for about three miles to the large metal building, located on your right.
That's the main building for the Douglas County Fairgrounds.
GO EARLY
As a special word of advice to anyone planning to attend this very popular function: GO EARLY!
The doors open at 5 p.m. and the evening's program is slated to begin at 7 p.m.
COST
A ticket is $25 per person or $15 for anyone under the age of 18.
Note: Youngsters under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
That cost includes the fund raiser's traditional, barbecued Tri-Tip steak sandwiches on hard rolls, with tasty homemade beans and tossed salad, plus a one-year membership in the Chukar Club.
