Patrick R. Linehan

A memorial service for Patrick R. Linehan, 72, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Gall Catholic Church.

Mr. Linehan died Feb. 22, 2006, at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center. He was born March 23, 1933, in Chicopee, Mass., to Patrick and Valeda Linehan.

He married Marlene Linton at St. Mary's Catholic Church in 1956. Before moving to Gardnerville 12 years ago, he lived in Culver City, Calif. He was a machinist at Lockheed Aircraft for 32 years. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps with a tour of duty during the Korean War. He was a member of St. Gall Catholic Church and the Culver City Elks Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, daughter Kathy and her husband Kenton, son Michael and his wife Dana and sons Thomas and John, all of Gardnerville; daughter Mary and her partner of Reno; son Robert and his wife, Lori, of Gilbert, Ariz.; grandchildren Starr, Sean, Dillion, Trevor, Shannon, Destiny, Zachary and Sydnie; and three great-grandchildren.

Capitol City Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
