Visitation for Rose Ethel Chaney, 90, of Dayton will be from 10-11:30 a.m. Thursday at FitzHenry's Funeral Home in Carson City.
Mrs. Chaney died Dec. 30, 2005 at White Pine Care Center in Ely. She was born Nov. 4, 1915 in Page, N.D., to James and Ebba Holmquist Thompson.
Mrs. Chaney had been a resident of the Carson City and Dayton area for 31 years, coming from Truckee, Calif.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Chaney; grandson Freaddy. A Chaney; great-grandson Colby L. Chaney; two brothers; and a sister.
Her survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law Chester and Nancy of Prescott, Ariz., and Roy and Linda and Dennis and Suzette, all of Dayton; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Burial will take place at Lone Mountain Cemetery.
FitzHenry's is in charge of arrangements.
