A celebration of life for Kathy E. Nicholson, 58, an eight-year resident of Carson City, will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Christian Church in Carson City.
Mrs. Nicholson died Jan. 1, 2006, at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center. She was born Feb. 16, 1947, in Oakland, Calif., to Alfred Corrie and Lenore Moylan.
She married Terry Nicholson on Nov. 10, 1984, in San Leandro, Calif.
She enjoyed animals.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lenora Price; and a brother.
She is survived by her husband of Carson City; son, Gary Buserwini of Sacramento; daughter, Lisa Beaton of Suisun City, Calif.; sisters Nora Pontes of Dayton and Sharon Mitchell of Hayward, Calif.; brother Mike Corrie of Sacramento; and seven grandchildren.
