The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 31-year-old warehouse worker from Carson City was arrested at 10:32 p.m. Wednesday at Lone Mountain Drive and Winnie Lane on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving and failure to maintain lane. Bail was set at $1,239.


• A 20-year-old construction framer from Carson City was arrested at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 2400 block of Bunch Way on suspicion of misdemeanor contempt. Bail was set at $435.


• Phillip Robert Gallardo, 26, of Sparks, was arrested at 2:20 p.m. in the 600 block of Division Street on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine. Bail was set at $2,500.


n The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:


• The coroner was called to Clear Creek Road at 1:57 p.m. Wednesday after a Meals on Wheels worker reported an elderly woman there would not answer her door.


• The coroner responded to a home in the 4000 block of Furnace Creek Drive at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday.


• A man reported Wednesday his 1991 White Cutlass was stolen sometime Dec. 30 from the 3500 block of Woodside Drive. The highway patrol reported they towed the vehicle on Dec. 31 when it was found unoccupied, with the engine running, in a ditch at Highway 50 East and Nichols Lane.


• A woman reported at 11:51 p.m. Wednesday she was kicked earlier in the evening by a co-worker in the 3200 block of Market Street.


• A woman reported at 6:04 a.m. Thursday her baby's father took her money and cell phone and left on foot from the 2700 block of South Carson Street.


• A caller on Chaparral Drive reported Thursday at 9:02 a.m. he received threatening phone calls from an unknown person the previous evening.


• Two trucks on Ridgefield Drive were burglarized Wednesday night. Vehicles in the 2600 block of Longridge Drive, the 2800 block of Oxbow Drive and the 2000 block of Hawthorne Court were also reportedly burglarized Wednesday night.




Lyon County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:


• Child abuse, neglect or endangerment report in the 1100 block of Tenth Street in Silver Springs at 7:34 a.m.


• The coroner responded to the 200 block of South Center Street in Yerington at 10:50 a.m.


• Injury to motor vehicle report in the 200 block of Glenn Vista Boulevard in Dayton at 12:11 p.m.


• Fire in the Donner Trail subdivision in Fernley at 1:47 p.m.


• Larceny report in the 100 block of Garnet Drive in Mound House at 4:54 p.m.


• A felony arrest on a warrant in the 100 block of Goldfield Avenue in Mason Valley at 7:18 p .m.


• Destruction of property report in the 5000 block of Pawnee Drive in Stagecoach at 9:56 p.m.


• A misdemeanor arrest on a warrant at the Lyon County Jail in Yerington at 11:21 p.m.


• Drunken driving arrest in the 10000 block of Highway 50 East in Mound House at 11:54 p.m.




Storey County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:


• A dead horse was reported in the eastbound lane of Interstate 80 in Lockwood at 4:44 a.m.


• An arrest was made on Peri Ranch Road and Canyon Way in Lockwood at 7:52 a.m.


• A Chesapeake Bay retriever named Chestnut has been missing since Saturday from the Sutro Springs.


• A person who arrived at the jail to bail out an inmate, was found to have a traffic warrant at 7:36 p.m.


• Several cars needed to be moved from C Street so snow could be cleared at 11:30 p.m.
