August Anthony Circo, 88, a Carson City resident since 1982, died Jan. 5, 2006, at Evergreen Care Center in Carson City.
He was born June 19, 1917, in Omaha, Neb., to Joseph and Anna La Montia Circo.
He married Rose Helen Circo on May 22, 1949, in Olathe, Kan.
He was a glazier and worked in maintenance for FMC Corp. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and baking.
He is preceded in death by his brother Art.
Among his survivors are his wife of Carson City; son and daughter-in-law Joe and Kim of Carson City; daughters and sons-in-law Rosemarie and Joe Kinsley and Debbie and Richard Kaspar, all of Carson City, and Beverly and Robert Merrel of San Jose, Calif.; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Capitol City Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
