A memorial service for Darrell F. Curt, 48, an 18-year resident of Minden, will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Gardnerville.
Mr. Curt died Jan. 5, 2006, at home. He was born Nov. 30, 1957, in Fullerton, Calif., to Carl J. Curt and Jeannette Waldrep.
He graduated from Hug High School in Reno. He married Muriel Curt on Sept. 25, 1982.
He was a Douglas County storekeeper. He belonged to the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah's Witnesses.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Among his survivors are his wife; father; mother; stepfather, Vern Waldrep; sisters Teresa Fox and Suzanne Flood; and five nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to Barton's Memorial Hospice, or the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Walton's Douglas Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
