A memorial Mass for Adam Fritz, 83, of Gardnerville will be said at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Gall Catholic Church in Gardnerville. A reception will follow in the pastoral center.
Mr. Fritz died Jan. 6, 2006, at home. He was born May 24, 1922, on a farm near Johnstown, Pa.
He was a welder and a millwright. He spent 10 years in Napa Valley working as a millwright for the Charles Krug Winery.
He served in the U. S. Army for three years during World War II.
He was a member of St. Gall Catholic Church, and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He enjoyed his family, gardening, and had a sense of humor.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Lee; son, Dave; and grandchildren Elena and Jesse.
