Elinor Sulfare Barr, 76, a seven-year resident of Gardnerville, died in Gardnerville on Dec. 30, 2005, of pancreatic cancer.
Mrs. Barr was born in 1929 in Easton, Pa., to Joseph and Pauline Sulfare. She graduated from Palmer High School, participating in marching band and the Palmer All Girls Band.
She was involved in the Eastern Star and worked for Aerospace Philco Ford in California.
She was a member of the area antique doll club and a member of the Carson Valley United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, in November 2004 of cancer.
Among her survivors are her children Reid Barr, Holly Lovgren, and Kathy Karnofel; three grandsons, and three granddaughters.
Capitol City Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
