The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 36-year-old salesman from Carson City was arrested at 11:59 p.m. Friday in the 300 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of two counts of misdemeanor battery. Bail was set at 2,132.


•A 25-year-old construction worker from Carson City was arrested at 1:26 a.m. Saturday in the 3800 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving, hit-and-run accident, no driver's license and leaving the scene of an accident. Bail was set at $2,583.


• David Paul Miller, 25, of Mound House, was arrested at 4:10 a.m. Saturday in the 3400 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of felony possession of a firearm under the influence of alcohol, misdemeanor discharging a firearm in public and possession of marijuana. Bail was set at $8,364.


• A 22-year-old construction worker from Carson City was arrested at 1:23 a.m. Saturday at Fifth and Saliman streets on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving and a hit-and-run accident. Bail was set at $1,764.


• A 25-year-old painter from Carson City was arrested at 4:56 a.m. Saturday at Gordon Street and Graves Lane on suspicion of drunken driving, failure to use turn single and possession of marijuana. Bail was set at $1,871.


• A 23-year-old carpenter from Carson City was arrested at midnight Saturday in the 1700 block of North Carson Street on suspicion on violation of a suspended sentence. Bail was set at $3,000 cash.


• A 36-year-old Wal-Mart employee from Dayton was arrested at 4:12 p.m. Friday in the 2600 block of Graves Lane on suspicion of two counts of misdemeanor contempt. Bail was set at $864 cash.


• A 33-year-old unemployed woman from Carson City was arrested at 6:30 p.m. Friday in the 1900 block of North Carson City on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to pay fines. Bail was set at $354 cash.




Lyon County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:


• A report of a drunk driver on Miller Lane in Mason Valley at 2:08 a.m. Friday.


• A battery in the 1300 block of Highway 95A at Fernley High School at 7:37 a.m. Friday.


• A motor vehicle accident on Summerset Hills Drive in Mason Valley at 7:40 a.m. Friday.


• A report of a commercial burglary at McDonald's in Fernley at 7:43 a.m. Friday.


• A child abuse or neglect case was reported at the Fernley Substation at 10:12 a.m. Friday.


• A report of sexual offenses received at the Fernley Substation at 3:22 p.m. Friday.


• A report of sexual offenses on Pantavista Circle in Mason Valley at 3:39 p.m. Friday.


• Harassing or obscene phone calls on Inglewood Drive in Fernley at 4:06 p.m. Friday.


• A residential burglary on South Nevada Street in Yerington at 4:46 p.m. Friday.


• A fight in the 100 block of Nesting Court in Fernley at 7:15 p.m. Friday.




Storey County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:


• A traffic accident in the 100 block of O Street in Virginia City at 9:45 a.m. Friday.


• A traffic stop at Ave Rue De La Vior at 5:54 p.m. Friday.
