The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 33-year-old transient was arrested at 2:31 a.m. Thursday in the 400 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor trespassing. Bail was set at $237.


• Robin Marie Johnson, 30, a homemaker from Dayton, was arrested at 3:06 p.m. Wednesday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and drunken driving. Bail was set at $2,500.


n The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:


• A truck struck a telephone pole at Carmine Street and Airport Road at 8:41 p.m. Wednesday.


• Money was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 3900 block of Northgate Lane sometime Tuesday night.


• A vehicle was missing from a South Carson dealership Wednesday at 2:32 p.m.




Storey County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:


• Accident at 7:42 a.m. on North D Street.


• A school bus with 25 children on board got stuck in snow at Sazarac and Cartwright roads at 9 a.m. A plow cleared a path for the bus.


• An arrest at 10:29 a.m. on South B Street at the courthouse.


• A vehicle lost its tire on Lousetown Road at 12:22 p.m.


• Four-vehicle accident on Cartwright Road at 7:25 p.m.
