The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 45-year-old salesperson from Carson City was arrested at 1:21 a.m. Sunday in the 2200 block of East Long Street on suspicion of misdemeanor making threats. Bail was set at $632.


• A 23-year-old manager from Carson City was arrested at 12:36 a.m. Sunday in the 1500 block of Old Hot Springs Road on suspicion of a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear on a traffic matter. Bail was set at $832 cash.


• A 19-year-old construction worker from Carson City was arrested at 8:04 p.m. Saturday in the 1700 block of Russel Way on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to comply. Bail was set at $1,000 cash.


• A 22-year-old hospitality worker from Carson City was arrested at 4:05 p.m. Saturday in the 3000 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear. Bail was set at $500 cash.


• Arthur Gibbins, 36, of Carson City, was arrested at 5:55 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of West Ninth Street on suspicion of felony possession of stolen property. Bail was set at $15,000. A 25-year-old food server from Reno was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and obstructing a peace officer. His bail was set at $1,539.


• Wesley A. Pierce, 20, of Carson City, was arrested at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the 3200 block of Market Street on suspicion of felony probation violation and misdemeanor minor consuming alcohol. No bail was set.


• A 20-year-old Starbucks employee from Carson City was arrested at 1:36 a.m. Sunday in the 3400 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of misdemeanor loitering in an establishment serving alcohol, minor consuming alcohol and violation of probation. No bail was set.


• Franklin Risner, 30, of Carson City was arrested at 11:04 a.m. Saturday at Carson Street and Koontz Lane on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor driving under the influence of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on a suspended license, no proof of insurance, driving on suspended registration, fictious plates and open container. Bail was set at $6,472.




Lyon County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:


• A drunken driver at Highway 50 East and Red Rock Road in Mound House at 12:32 a.m. Saturday.


• A drunken driver at Highway 50 East and Fort Churchill Road in Mark Twain at 12:49 a.m. Saturday.


• Pursuit of a drunken driver at Highway 50 East and Linehan Road in Mound House at 12:51 a.m. Saturday.


• A neighborhood dispute in the 200 block of Paiute Drive on tribal lands at 4:25 a.m. Saturday.




Storey County


The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:


• A traffic stop on North B Street in Virginia City at 4:21 p.m. Saturday. The driver was issued a citation.


• A traffic stop on State Road 342 at 5:50 p.m. Saturday. The driver was issued a warning for broken headlight.


• A man reported some had dumped old flooring material behind his house near Dayton at 4:05 p.m. Saturday.
