A funeral service for Josie P. Teehee, 84, an eight-year Carson City resident, will be 11 a.m. Monday at FitzHenry's Chapel of Faith. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday and prior to the service Monday.

Mrs. Teehee died Jan. 24, 2006, at Evergreen Health Care. She was born Aug. 16, 1921, in Chelsea, Okla., to Thomas Inman and Sophie Hale.

Prior to moving to Carson City she lived in Wiemar, Calif.

She was a nurses aide.

She enjoyed camping, fishing, nature and her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by six brothers, one sister, and granddaughter Tracy Lynn Russell.

Among her survivors are husband, Burl. M. Teehee, of Carson City; sons Melvin Tehee of Silver Springs and Danny Tehee of Carson City; daughter Barbara Sue Russell of Paradise, Calif.; brother Bob Inman of West Palm Beach, Fla.; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren.

Burial will be at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley.

FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
