Crime Report

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Kane Morris, 29, a ski instructor from Crystal Bay, was charged with felony battery by a prisoner. Morris, in custody on an assault charge, allegedly fought with another inmate over a blanket. Bail was set at $7,500.

• A 20-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 7:15 p.m. Monday in the 400 block of Jeanell Drive on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear on a traffic citation. Bail was set at $242.

-- The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:

• A home on Crown Point was burglarized while the owner was in the hospital.

• Two people were cited Monday on Old Clear Creek Road at 5:40 p.m. for allegedly dumping trash.

• A 4-year-old boy was found unsupervised on Tonni Street at 9:13 a.m. Tuesday. The child was turned over to family.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• Fire on Highway 95 Alternate in Mason Valley at 10:25 a.m.

• Fire on Nordyke Street in Mason Valley at 11:43 a.m.

• Destruction-of-property report on Bonanza Lane in Mason Valley at 4:35 p.m.

• Neighborhood dispute in the 11000 block of Maverick Way in Stagecoach at 5:25

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• An arrest was made on Avenue De La Emerald in Lockwood at 10:25 a.m.

• A single-vehicle accident on Cartwright Road at 12:23 p.m.

• An arrest at the Storey County Sheriff's Office at 1:07 p.m.
