A memorial service for Lily E. Wipfli, 91, a 27-year Carson City resident, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.

Mrs. Wipfli died June 20, 2006 in Carson City. She was born Aug. 5, 1914, in Alameda, Calif., to William Bauhofer and Emma Kinzli.

She married John Wipfli May 24, 1939, in Centerville, Calif.

Before moving to Carson City, Mrs. Wipfli lived in Fremont, Calif.

She was the secretary of the Cloverdale Creamery in Fremont for 40 years, and was co-owner of Sierra Pines of Woodsford, Calif., for 15 years.

She belonged to the Aelpler Gruppe Swiss Club of Newark, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dec. 26, 2003 in Carson City; sister, Emma in 1997; and brother William in 1999.

Among her survivors are her sons and daughters-in-law Richard and Brenda Wipfli of Carson City and Tom and Candace Wipfli of Wellington; daughter and son-in-law, Colleen and Dave Wagner of Smith; brother Joe Bauhofer; four grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
