A celebration of life for Michelle "Shelli" Marie Hodges, 44, a Gardnerville resident since 2004, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Crossroads Nazarene Church, 1788 Pinenut Road in Gardnerville.
Mrs. Hodges died June 30, 2006, of breast cancer.
She was born Aug. 17, 1961, in Encino, Calif., to Maynard Manchester and Sherri Holman.
She enjoyed crafting, scrapbooking and organizing events for her family and community.
She was preceded in death by her mother in August 2005.
Among her survivors are her husband, the Rev. Leonard E. Hodges Jr.; daughters Danielle Tierney, Bailey Hodges and Mattie Hodges; sister and brother-in-law, Meleesa and Robert Pellerino of Grass Valley, Calif.; father of Tucson, Ariz.; mother-in-law Essie Hodges of Fresno; stepfather, the Rev. Gene Holman of Gardnerville; grandparents Tim and Peck Nagel of Gardnerville; three nephews; and numerous extended-family members.
Memorial donations may be made to Living Word Fellowship "Wheels for Ted" fund for Mrs. Hodges' quadriplegic uncle, Ted Nagel, at Living Word Fellowship, 824 Pba'ul (Dark Bush), Gardnerville, NV, 89460.
FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
