Betty Jean Bridwell, 77, a five-year Carson City resident, died April 5, 2006, in Carson City.
Mrs. Bridwell was born Sept. 25, 1928, in Berkeley, Calif.
She married Hayden Bridwell on Feb. 8, 1947, in Orinda, Calif.
Before moving to Carson City, Mrs. Bridwell lived at South Lake Tahoe.
She was a sheriff dispatcher for El Dorado County at South Lake Tahoe.
She enjoyed gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Aug. 21, 1992, in Brookings, Ore.
Among her survivors are her daughters Christine Bridwell and Karen Manuel, both of Martinez, Calif.; daughter and son-in-law Claudia and Gary Stanton of Dixon, Calif.; son and daughter-in-law, Hayden L. and Clair Bridwell of Carson City; sister and brother-in-law, Janet Ellen and Ernie Place of New York; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; one niece; and two grand-nephews.
A memorial service was held at her home April 22.
Capitol City Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
