Mary Viola Galbraith

Mary Viola Galbraith, 94, a Carson City resident since 1984, died July 3, 2006, in Carson City.

Mrs. Galbraith was born Aug. 1, 1911 in Muscatine, Iowa, to Edward Wagler and Sarah Wren.

She married Herbert Galbraith on June 25, 1932, in Galesburg, Ill.

Before moving to Carson City, Mrs. Galbraith lived in Long Beach, Calif., for 30 years.

She was a homemaker and belonged to the United Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Eileene; son-in-law, Richard; and granddaughter Sharon.

Among her survivors are her grandson Michael Kronenberg of Sisters, Ore.; and great-grandchildren Angela and Alan Kronenberg, both of Banks, Ore.

Cremation will take place at Walton's Sierra Crematory.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
