A celebration of life for Dianna Lynn Rodriguez, 45, a 10-year Carson City resident, will be 1 p.m. July 22 at her home, 407 E. Park St. in Carson City. Family and friends are invited to attend.

Ms. Rodriguez died July 3, 2006, in Carson City. She was born Jan. 8, 1961, in Bellflower, Calif., to Franklin and Ruth Whitten.

Before moving to Carson City, Ms. Rodriguez lived in Westminster, Calif.

She graduated from Westminster High School and attended Goldenwest Community College at Huntington Beach, Calif.

She was a homemaker and also worked as a casino cashier.

She belonged to the St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.

She enjoyed reading, camping, spending time with her family and friends, country music and smiling.

She was preceded in death by her father on Feb. 4, 2002, in Kingman, Ariz.

Among her survivors are her daughter, Royanna Rodriguez of Huntington Beach; son, Roy "R.J." Rodriguez Jr. of Carson City; mother; sisters Patsy Whitten of Carson City, Mary Phillips of Fallon, Evon Flaig of Escondido, Calif., Linda Casselman of Carson City and Jenny Gregory of Washington; brothers Charles Whitten of Escondido and James Whitten of Westminster; and 19 nieces and nephews.

Washoe Memorial Cremation and Burial Society is in charge of arrangements.
