James "Jim" Dyche, 85, a lifelong Carson City resident, died July 6, 2006, in Albuquerque, N.M.
Mr. Dyche was born July 31, 1920, in Rexford, Kan., to Robert Dyche and Carmen Connell.
Mr. Dyche had lived in Carson City for all but the last year of his life.
He had a bachelor's degree and worked as a salesman.
He served in the U.S. Navy as a pilot during World War II.
He enjoyed bowling.
Mr. Dyche was preceded in death by his daughter Karen Becker.
Among his survivors are his sons and daughters-in-law Larry and Debbi Dyche of Tijeras, N.M., Robin and Carol Dyche of Albuquerque and David and Yolonda of Tucson, Ariz.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Private services were held.
French Mortuary in Albuquerque, N.M., is in charge of arrangements.
