Heui Byung 'Steve' Chun

A funeral for Heui Byung "Steve" Chun, 55, a 30-year Carson City resident, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.

Mr. Chun died Jan. 24, 2007, in Carson City. He was born March 6, 1951, in Daejun, Korea, to Sang Gyo Chun and In Sook Park.

He married Julie Shinok Choi in 1980 in Reno.

He was the owner and operator of Capital Cleaners in Carson City, and a member of Hana Presbyterian Church in Reno.

Among his survivors are his mother, of Korea; his wife, of Carson City; stepson and daughter-in-law Thomas and Joy Kim of Albuquerque, N.M.; stepson David Kim of Carson City; sisters Nami Yoon and June Winters, both of Carson City; brother Ho Byung Chun of Carson City; and two grandchildren.

Cremation will take place at Walton's Sierra Crematory in Carson City.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
