Dog obedience classes start Tuesday
There will be a series of classes on dog obedience by instructor Guy Yeaman starting Tuesday and running for six-weeks, every Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. Cost for the session is $75.

State and county retirees to meet
The State of Nevada Employees Association of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees retirees will be meeting at 9 a.m. Monday at the SNEA/AFSCME office on the corner of Roop and Robinson streets.
This meeting is open to all state retirees, members and non-members, and active employees about to retire.
Sagebrush Studebakers to hold car show today
The Sagebrush Studebakers' third annual Orphan Meet and Cars Show is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at Fuji Park. There is a $15 entry fee for every car at the gate.

Infant massage and communication classes start Wednesday
There will be classes for infant massage and communication starting Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. or 7 p.m. and July 22 at 10 a.m.

Community bingo is at Douglas Senior Center today
The Douglas County Senior Center's afternoon of community bingo is today at the senior center, 2300 Meadow Lane. Doors open at noon with early bird games starting at 1 p.m. and regular games beginning at 1:30 p.m. Bingo is open to anyone over 21. Call 267-4897.

'Be a Bobcat' program is at Rancho San Rafael
Children ages 7 to 12 can explore the secretive lives of the bobcat, a wild animal, and have fun learning how to scream like the bobcat during a free Junior Rancho Ranger program at 2:30 p.m. today at the white gazebo in front of the Great Basin Adventure. Call 785-4512.
