A memorial service for Betty J. Perry Loell, 79, a six-month Gardnerville resident, will be at 2 p.m. Aug. 2 at the Living Word Fellowship in Gardnerville.
Mrs. Loell died July 10, 2006, in Gardnerville. She was born Sept. 23, 1926, in Alturas, Calif., to Kesner and Charlotte Perry.
Before moving to Gardnerville, Mrs. Loell lived in Sacramento.
She graduated from high school in Cedarville, Calif., in 1944.
She was a manager for Hertz Rent-A-Car for 25 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Loell, sister Thelma Perry; and brother Vern Perry.
Among her survivors are her daughter Paula J. Blaver of Gardnerville; brothers Robert Perry of Cedarville and Don Perry of Cedar Grove, Calif.; two grandsons and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation will take place at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Walton's Douglas County Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
