A celebration of life for Bruce Kellogg, 55, a 28-year Stagecoach resident, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at 9220 Calico Trail in Stagecoach.

Mr. Kellogg died July 13, 2006, at his home.

He was born Nov. 17, 1950, in Burley, Idaho, to Leo C. Kellogg and Georgia Louise Kellogg.

Before moving to Stagecoach, Mr. Kellogg lived in Carson City.

He enjoyed gardening, fishing, boating, collecting antique cars and tractors, and riding motorcycles.

He owned and operated B. Kellogg Contractors.

He supported the Carson High School Baseball team for several years and was on the Lyon County Planning Commission from 1987-88.

He was preceded in death by his parents, by several aunts and uncles, and son Ronnie Kellogg.

Among his survivors are his son Joseph Kellogg of Stagecoach; daughter, Tammy Lynn Kellogg of South Dakota; sisters and brothers-in-law Kay and Sam Brady of Mound House and Linda and Gary Kyger of Joplin, Mo.; sister Joan Larsen of Burley, Idaho; brother Gerald Larsen of St. Anthony, Idaho; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Capitol City Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
