Dick Biggs (age 89) of Carson City just returned from a fishing trip at the Cook Inlet of Alaska.

He was with his family group who fished with The Outlook Lodge of Anchor Point on the Kenai Peninsula. He caught the group's largest Halibut (35 pounds) and largest King Salmon (52 pounds).

Norm Budden of Carson City also just returned with all kinds of frozen Halibut fillets from salt-water fishing near Craig, Alaska.

Bob "Slick" McCulloch of Carson City recently came down with some kind of mysterious red rash, all over his body, from some new medication. He looked like a giant "faded out Strawberry." YUK!

Jim O'Banion of Smith Valley planted 27 fish (150 pounds) in early July at Topaz Lake as a donation to Topaz Lake. Those fish averaged about 5-6 pounds. They ranged from 3.5 pounds to 10-11 pounds.
