The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:


• A 26-year-old shipping and receiving clerk from Carson City was arrested at 7:09 a.m. Monday in the 3800 block of South Carson Street. Bail was set at $759.


• A 23-year-old laborer from Carson City was arrested at 3:28 a.m. Tuesday on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving, a hit-and-run accident, and driving on a suspended vehicle registration. Bail was set at $1,871.


• Corey Ray Chamberlain, 25, a welder from Dayton, was arrested Monday on suspicion of felony uttering a forged instrument and misdemeanor contempt of court. Bail was set at $2,500.


• A 46-year-old line cook was arrested at 11:02 a.m. Monday in the 2800 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence. Bail was set at $1,000.


The following are some of the 125 calls to which deputies responded Monday:


• Coroner call in the 1600 block of Medical Parkway at 9:13 a.m.


• Residential burglary report in the 900 block of East Telegraph at 11:47 a.m.


• A computer was stolen from a home in the 1500 block of North Edmonds Drive between 10 a.m. and noon.


• A woman reported at 2:04 p.m. she hadn't heard from her father since he left for California on Friday.


• Theft of license plates from the 1700 block of Pyrenees Street at 4:13 p.m.


Storey County


The following are some of the 22 calls to which deputies responded Monday:


• An arrest on Peri Ranch Road at 7:28 a.m.


• A man reported he thought he had a snake in his home in the 1900 block of Morgan Road at 9 a.m.


• An arrest on North L Street at 11:15 a.m.


• A report of a head injury in the 900 block of Waltham Way at 3:41 p.m.


• A truck lost its trailer on Canyon Way at 5:59 p.m.


• A camera was found on C Street and turned over to police at 7:31 p.m.
