Arthur "Bud" Harris Jr., 66, a 30-year Carson Valley resident, died July 24, 2006, in Carson City.
He was born April 19, 1940, in Los Angeles to Arthur Leo Harris and Beatrice Harris.
Before moving to the Carson Valley area, Mr. Harris lived in Southern California.
He enjoyed drag racing, fishing, NASCAR and his family.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Among his survivors are his mother of Gardnerville; wife, Ginger Harris of Dayton; sons Rick Harris of Carson City and Mike Harris of Redding, Calif.; daughter, Nikki Morton of Washington; brother, John Harris of Gardnerville; uncle Bill Nunnally; cousin Judy Lathram; and 11 grandchildren.
Capitol City Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
