Minna L. Weninger, 94, a Carson City resident since March, died July 22, 2006, in Carson City.

She was born March 21, 1912, in Germany to Henry and Bertha Meise.

She lived in Chicago from 1920 to 1996, and also lived to Arlington Heights, Ill., before moving to Carson City.

She enjoyed square dancing, singing and swimming.

She was a Lutheran and sang with the YMCA Choir in Arlington Heights. She was a member of the German Club in Chicago.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward V. Weninger, in 1992; and daughter, Marilyn Bergmsa, in 2001.

Among her survivors are her son, Edward R. Weninger of Carson City; grandchildren Bonnie Rodgers, Debbie Hume, Sherri Jorgenson, Jim Weninger and Tom Weninger; and six great-grandchildren.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
