Timothy 'Timateo' Dale Coleman

A memorial service for Timothy "Timateo" Dale Coleman, 19, an eight-year Gardnerville resident, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Hilltop Community Church, 3616 N. Sunridge Dr., in Jacks Valley. It will be a joint service for Mr. Coleman and Alex Haas.

Mr. Coleman died July 22, 2006, near Zephyr Cove.

He was born Sept. 25, 1986, in San Francisco to Dale and Marilyn Coleman.

Before moving to Gardnerville, he lived in Newark, Calif.

He was a 2005 graduate of Douglas High School and had spent one year at the University of Nevada, Reno.

He enjoyed snowboarding, floating on the river, and was fond of the number 11.

He was preceded in death by his mother on Aug. 27, 2003, at Washoe Medical Center in Reno.

Among his survivors are his father of Gardnerville; grandmother, Ruth Morrison of Los Altos Hills, Calif.; sister, Cassondra Coleman of Reno; and several extended-family members.

Memorial donations may be made to the Timothy Coleman Fund, C/O Wells Fargo Bank.
