Sheriffs' Log

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 41-year-old retail store employee was arrested at 3:15 a.m. Friday on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of bail conditions. Bail was set at $3,132.

• Victor Martinez, 29, a warehouse worker from Reno, was arrested in the 500 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of felony possession of a prescription drug without a prescription. Bail was set at $2,500.

• Cruz Juarez Gutierrez, 49, of Carson City, was arrested on Woodside Drive on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon, gross misdemeanor aiming a firearm at another, misdemeanor possession of a firearm under the influence of alcohol and possession of paraphernalia. Bail was set at $20,000.

• Bruce Harold Lynd, 56, a painter from Carson City, was arrested at 12:35 p.m. Thursday at Smith's on suspicion of felony burglary. Bail was set at $2,500.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:

• Traffic citation at 11:11 a.m. on Mustang Road.

• A report of two small dogs locked in a vehicle on North C Street at 1:24 p.m.

• An arrest on B Street at 4:28 p.m.
