Ardis Lorraine Councilman, 89, a Carson City resident, died June 5, 2006, in Carson City.
Mrs. Councilman was born Nov. 14, 1916, in Hemet, Calif., to William Nicholas Corwin and Jenny May.
She married Willard S. Councilman on Oct. 2, 1936 in Hemet, Calif.
Before moving to Carson City, Mrs. Councilman lived in Hemet.
She was an active member of PEO Chapter A.S. in Hemet and was a lifetime member of the Congregational Church in Hemet and an avid bridge player.
Among her survivors are her husband of Carson City; daughters and sons-in-law Sandy and Gus Ehresman of Carson City and Janie and John Weaver of Saratoga Springs, Utah; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
