Dayton-area senior menues

The following menus are for the week of June 19-23 and subject to change without notice. Choice of beverages is included with meals:

Dayton

The lunch menu for the Dayton Senior Center, 320 Old Dayton Valley Road:

Monday: Baked ham, scalloped potatoes, green beans, orange, cookies, roll w/butter.

Tuesday: Taco salad, ground beef, cheese, beet-onion salad, tortilla chips, salsa, strawberry shortcake.

Wednesday: Beef stew, cornbread, coleslaw, applesauce, mixed fruit.

Thursday: Breaded fish squares, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, Tater Tots, tartar sauce, pears, bread.

Friday: Breakfast, 9-10 a.m. - Biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage, grapes, hashbrowns, V8 and orange juice.

Silver Springs

The menu for the Silver Springs Senior Center, 1050 Pyramid Way:

Monday: Swiss steak with mashed potatoes and mushroom gravy, plums, carrots and peas, bread with butter.

Tuesday: Spud stuffer with ground beef and cheese, corn, red bell peppers, fruit juice, peaches, butter and sour cream.

Wednesday: Summer stew with carrots, potatoes and celery, green salad, fresh oranges, biscuit w/butter.

Thursday: Game hens, apricots, green beans, butter-garlic noodles, roll, cake and ice cream.

Friday: Baked fish, coleslaw, banana, stewed tomatoes, fruit crisp.

Fernley

The menu for the Fernley Senior Center 1170 W. Newlands Dr:

Monday: French dip, broccoli and cauliflower, pasta salad, apple crisp.

Tuesday: Chicken-noodle casserole, mixed veggies, roll, peach cobbler.

Wednesday: Chicken Cordon Bleu, green beans w with bacon and onions, baked apple, green salad.

Thursday: Cheese ravioli with meat sauce, green salad, pears, garlic bread.

Friday: Angel-hair pasta, veggie blend, fruit medley.

Yerington

The Yerington Senior Center is at 117 Tilson Way.

Monday: Chicken tenders.

Tuesday: Taco salad.

Wednesday: Hot turkey sandwich.

Thursday: Baked stuffed pork chops.

Friday: Picnic in the park - Hamburger and hot dogs.
