A federal arrest warrant was issued for Darren Roy Mack, 45, of Reno, on charges of unlawful flight to avoid prosecution, according to a press release issued this afternoon by the FBI.

The charges were filed Wednesday, a day after he was charged in Nevada with murdering his estranged wife in Reno on Monday. Mack is also wanted for questioning in connection with Monday's shooting of Family Court Judge Chuck Weller, 53, in Reno.

Mack is a white male, 5 feet 11 inches tall weighing about 200 pounds with hazel eyes and brown hair. Mack was last seen driving a silver Ford Explorer with California license plates 5POR272.

According to the FBI, Mack may have traveled to California from Reno on Monday. The investigation is being conducted by the Reno Police Department, Washoe County Sheriff's Office, the U.S. Marshal's Service and the FBI.

Anyone with information on Mack's whereabouts should call the FBI at (702) 385-1281
