A celebration of life for Chelsea Angeline Mendoza-Morrison, 15, a Washoe Valley resident, will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the New Beginnings Christian Church on Esmeralda Drive in Washoe Valley. Viewing will be 5-7 p.m. today at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Ms. Mendoza-Morrison died June 16, 2006, in Washoe Valley. She was born April 19, 1991, in Tucson, Ariz., to Cindra Morrison.
Among her survivors are her mother and adoptive father Bruce Morrison; sister Monica Munoz; brothers and sisters-in-law Ricardo and Chandra Mendoza and Rene and Jennifer Mendoza; brothers Jonathan, Joshua and Jason Mendoza-Morrison; sister Rebecca Mendoza-Morrison; grandmother Helen Eckstrom Munoz; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
