Paul Oser, 98, a seven-year Dayton resident, died June 19, 2006, in Carson City.

Mr. Oser was born April 21, 1908, in Reniach, Switzerland, to Jacob and Emma Kaiser Oser.

He married Marjorie Fritz on Oct. 24, 1948, in New Jersey.

Before moving to Dayton, he lived in Wellington.

Mr. Oser was educated in Switzerland and a trade-school graduate. He was a carpenter.

Among his survivors are his wife; daughter and son-in-law Joy and Mike Cable of Redmond, Wash.; daughter Holly Dean Oser of Unionville, N.Y.; son Jerrold Oser of Monroe, N.Y.; son and daughter-in-law Paul and Mary Ellen Oser of Monroe, N.Y.; sister-in-law Eleanor McDede of Carson City; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews in Switzerland.

Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.

FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
