The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded:

• A man reported being attacked with a cane in the 100 block of Jacobsen Way at 6:55 a.m. Friday.

• A purse was snatched from a woman in a parking lot in the 2100 block of Highway 50 East at 8:09 a.m.

• Vehicle burglary report in the 1600 block of Walker Drive at 11:31 a.m. Friday.

• A hanglider had a hard landing at the airport at 12:08 p.m. Friday.

• A vehicle in the 2100 block of Kansas Street was burglarized at 2:13 p.m.

• Residential burglary in the 1300 block of Como Street on Friday.

• Accident in the 4100 block of South Carson Street at 5:14 p.m.

• A neighbor threatened and cursed at children in the 3700 block of Prospect Drive on Friday at 6:01 p.m.

• Battery report taken at 6:14 p.m. Friday.

• Passersby detained a man allegedly attempting to steal a vehicle in the 800 block of North Carson Street at 4:08 a.m. Saturday.

• A gate was cut at a business in the 7700 block of Highway 50 East at 9 a.m. Saturday.

• Residential burglary report in the 100 block of Manzanita Terrace at 11:25 a.m.

• A report of a 21-year-old striking a 14-year-old in the 1400 block of Siskiyou at 7:45 p.m.

• Tools were stolen from a garage in the 600 block of East Telegraph.
