Blue, Knott and Onion Valley opened June 10

Blue Lakes, Knott Creek Reservoir and Onion Valley Reservoir, located in Northern Humboldt County, opened for the 2006 fishing season on June 10.

Those three waters will remain open to fishing until they close Monday, Nov. 15.

Blue Lakes:

Is open any hour of the day or night.

The limit is five trout.

Only those boats without motors are permitted.

The area is closed to all vehicular traffic.

Knott Creek Reservoir:

Is open any hour of the day or night.

The limit is one trout, minimum size of 18 inches.

Only artificial flies or lures with a single barbless hook may be used.

Boats must be operated at a speed that leaves no wake.

Onion Valley Reservoir:

Is open any hour of the day or night.

The limit is five trout.
