Hours of operation:

5 a.m.-10 p.m. weekdays; 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday;

8 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday

What I do: We have free weights, a cardio theater, aerobic and spinning classes. We have three tanning beds and free child daycare. My wife, Jaime, and I took over ownership July 1.

Why I decided to purchase the business: It's always been a dream of ours. We're very health-and-fitness orientated. We've been members at this club for a couple years, and we heard it was up for sale so we made an offer.

Business accomplishments: I am a loan officer at First Horizon Home Loans, where I am one of the top producers with Northern Nevada Mortgage Bankers.

Family: We have two children: Payton, 22 months; Tyler, 10 months.

Recommendation for reaching fitness goal: Mainly it has to do with your diet and maintaining a good fitness routine.

Is it better to be a weekend warrior or have a set routine during the work week? You have to find out what fits with your body. It depends on the person, their own goals and how their body reacts to that workout.

What do you do? I'm into free weights and cardio four to five times a week for an hour each time.
