A graveside service for Eldon Schultz, 68, a five-year resident of Minden, will be at the Grimes-Neely Cemetery in Jerseyville, Ill.
Mr. Schultz died March 6, 2006, in Minden. He was born Feb. 25, 1938, in Jerseyville, Ill., to Frederick Edwin and Elva Leona Schultz.
He married Patricia Schultz July 18, 1987, in Clinton, Ark.
Before moving to Minden he lived in Towanda, Ill.
He retired as the divisional superintendent for State Farm Insurance after 32 years.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Elks Lodge of Gardnerville.
He was preceded in death by his son Brian Charles Schultz.
Among his survivors are his wife of Minden; sons Bill of St. George, Utah, and Steven of Annandale, Va.; daughters Ruth Ann Gunning of Redmond, Wash., Janice Guevara of Long Beach, Calif., Laura Robinson of Acton, Calif., and Connie Gruel of Tehachapi, Calif.; and 13 grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Grimes-Neely Cemetery in Jerseyville.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
