Phyllis N. Nunemacher

Phyllis N. Nunemacher, 85, a 15-year resident of Carson City, died of a stroke March 2, 2006.

Mrs. Nunemacher was born June 12, 1920, in Madison, Wis.

Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Oregon.

She enjoyed reading, traveling and attending Elderhostel courses throughout the country. She had visited South Korea, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Canada, Mexico and several countries in Northern Europe.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Paul Nunemacher; son Ralph Nunemacher; sisters Dorice Nunemacher and Ardyce Hazard; and brother Herbert Moehlman.

Among her survivors are her son Phillip P. Nunemacher of Carson City; sister Bonnalie Payne of Yamhill, Ore.; brothers Kenneth Moehlman of Oregon and Rodney Moehlman of Bakersfield, Calif.; and stepmother, Nina Moehlman of Oregon.

Inurnment will take place in Oregon.
