Carson High graduate Darrell Rasner was reassigned by the New York Yankees on Saturday.

It's likely that Rasner will begin the season at the Yankees Triple A affiliate in Columbus, Ohio. Rasner had two appearances with the Yankees in spring training. He posted a 1-0 record with a 2.08 earned run average, allowing one run in 4.1 innings.

Fellow CHS graduate Dusty Bergman remains on the Yankees spring training roster. Bergman has had just one appearance so far in spring training, allowing one run on four hits in one inning of work.
